10 million passengers at the new Istanbul airport
Istanbul’s new airport has been celebrated as the 10 millionth passengers since it opened 57 days ago (April 6).
The ticket of the 10 million passenger was bought by teacher Esra Yachil Oz, which the airport administration surprised her with a musical band while she was book the ticket.
In a statement to media, Esra expressed its happiness for the surprise, and received a ticket number 10 million.
In April, Turkish government announced the closure of Ataturk International Airport, with opining the New Istanbul airport, which is world’s largest airport, and the third airport in Istanbul.
